Lake County, OH: The Lake County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board recently swore in Beverly Schilero and William Wilson as a Board members during their regular August meeting. Both Beverly and William were sworn in by Lake County Commissioner John Plecnik.
Established by Ohio statute, the ADAMHS Board plans, evaluates, monitors, and funds services for Lake County residents with mental illness and/or substance use disorders. Those services are delivered through a network of providers. Board members are all Lake County residents who serve without compensation.
Beverly Schilero lives in Concord Township and owns a small business called BAS Management and Consulting Services which provides accounting, payroll, and financial services. She also is a licensed real estate agent for Century 21. She stated, “I want to be part of a team that cares about lifting up the people in our communities who suffer from alcohol and substance use disorder and mental illness. Joining the ADAMHS Board will allow me to play a role in helping the organizations achieve their goals and provide financial oversight of those resources. I want to be part of a solution to a growing concern within our communities.”
William Wilson is a lifelong Lake Countian currently living in Concord Township. He currently works in manufacturing for Orbis Corporation after spending 23 years working in the retail sector. Wilson has recently gotten a deeper appreciation of everything that Lake County is, and everything it has to offer. “If I can give back to it, no matter how small my service or contribution may be, I’ll take advantage of every opportunity to serve the ADAMHS Board,” said Wilson.
